PAST (PAlaeontological STatistics), free software for scientific data analysis. It is possible to manipulate data, plot graphs, do statistical, ecological, time series, spatial, morphometric and stratigraphical analysis and plots. I’ve used it a little but not explored it fully, downloaded it at home yesterday to help with some plots for a publication I’m working on. I’m sure it could be used outside of palaeontology too?
